13. The Many Saints Of Springfield

HOMER (Dan Castellaneta), MARGE (Julie Kavner), BART (Nancy Cartwright), LISA (Yeardley Smith) and MAGGIE are instantly identifiable television icons. Rounding out this cast of characters are many beloved Springfield residents, including tavern proprietor MOE SZYSLAK (Hank Azaria) and nuclear power plant owner MR. BURNS (Harry Shearer).

13. The Many Saints of Springfield

One of the most enduring elements of The Simpsons is Springfield's elastic but firm continuity. It's what allows the characters to experience three decades of evolution while still being firmly set in a specific period of their lives. Only a handful of characters ever go through serious permanent changes. But as a result, many characters who've chosen darker paths are doomed to always walk them -- including one of the show's most consistent antagonists.

But this soft side to Fat Tony is put to the test in "The Many Saints of Springfield" when he finds a new business partner in Ned Flanders. After meeting by happenstance at church, Fat Tony becomes an angel investor allowing Ned to restart the Leftorium he first opened in Season 3. The two even develop a close friendship, sharing a deep Christian faith despite their many differences. Yet upon discovering the truth, Flanders ends up wearing a wire to build a case against Fat Tony that puts him into jail. Before he reveals the truth, Flanders makes a grand attempt to convince Tony to embrace his good side and forgo his more violent ends. While Tony reaffirms his faith, he doesn't recant his actions -- and Flanders is almost shot then and there on Tony's orders, only spared by the timely arrival of the authorities.

After not watching this show for many years, I watched this episode and man, all the actors except for Lisa sound so tired. I mean, it makes sense considering that everyone voice acting and producing the show are old now. But the low energy voice performance made the episode extremely boring. Besides that, the episode had one moment that made me laugh, Homer opening his car and all the snacks he ate fall out of his car and make a pile. But other than that, ehh. I find it interesting how the title of the episode is based on The Many Saints of Newark, a below average (in my opinion) prequel to The Sopranos, a classic.

Im a Marine infantry combat vet. This was my first personal ar-15. I love it. 500 yard shots, no problem. Feels great, looks fantastic (i have the earth tone and love it), has a really nice crisp trigger for stock, and its never malfunctioned. Im so happy with it i dont feel the need for a better 5.56 rifle and ive had it for several years. Heck it even came with a hard case. My single complaint is the word saint being so huge on the mag well, lol. I highly recommend. It feels like a $1200 rifle but costs alot less. And yes, i would be totally comfortable putting into a combat scenario. As a side note, ive never been disappointed with springfield. I also own a Springfield xdm .45 match grade with a 5.25in barrel. I love it too!

With the unprecedented sales of firearms during the year of 2020, first-time gun buyers are at an all-time high! During the last several years, the sale of AR-pattern firearms like the SAINT has been through the roof. And with many of these going to first-time gun buyers, there is a lot of demand for information on to disassemble and clean them as well as care for them.

Using this brush along with a gun solvent, I brush the entire bolt, carrier, cam pin, firing pin and firing pin retaining pin, as there will be a lot of fouling on them. The easiest way to remove the dirty solvent from the bolt carrier parts is using one of the gun scrubber-type of cleaners. There are many on the market and they work as advertised. 041b061a72
